25 years ago, in the city of Aleppo, the most important industrial hub in the Middle East, work started at the factories of GrandStar Company to produce accessory kits and supplements for the door and window glazing systems. Company’s founder, Ahmed Basatah, worked to provide excellent products that were able, in a short time, to meet 90 per cent of the local market’s needs due to the high quality and reliability of our products. GrandSTAR also added to its product list various accessories for glass facades.

OVERVIEW

In 2006, the company launched its products of automatic door systems, which included all accessories and the requirements necessary for automatic doors, with the start of production at the factories of “BHB” (Basatah, Hafez, Bawadekji) which was known for producing high-quality products in the field of tempered glass that contributed in supporting GrandSTAR pioneering steps and its market shares in local and regional markets. In 2006, GrandSTAR products were available in the markets of Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Egypt. Decades of accumulated industrial experience has played a major role in launching a patented architectural system in the name of GrandSTAR in the Middle East which was “glass curtains” facades to close or separate the glass facades that formed an advanced and unconventional solution to the facade cladding system. Today, our company works in various fields including manufacturing, supplying, providing engineering studies and implementing facades. GrandSTAR is proud of its products and the quality of hundreds of implemented projects in dozens of cities in various countries of the Middle East

Since the onset of GrandSTAR as an industrial company twenty-five years ago, the constant aspiration to achieve more is the secret of our success. Since taking the first steps of the project, we have worked on executing a sustainable plan that depends on providing all the project requirements. We believe that a robust industrial infrastructure will provide a solid industrial project. Our success tools, since the beginning, were a qualified team, expert and always believing in its ability to move from one achievement to another. We have worked on using the latest international technology to carry out our projects under the highest international standards required for working with our customers in Syria and the countries of the region. After 25 years of GrandSTAR foundation and with the achieved accomplishments in the sector of the glass facades cladding and the accessories industry, we are looking to open up new horizons because of our absolute belief, with our partners, in a better tomorrow in the housing sector, hotels, shops and other facilities that use our products. We also look forward to strengthening cooperation with our colleagues of facade producing factories, to which we provide the perfect accessories, as we always look forward to being an integrated team with engineers and contractors. Environmental Protection and Sustainability Policy

At GrandSTAR, we are committed to protecting the environment, and innovating and manufacturing products that adhere to the concept of sustainable development. We also work in various aspects of our industrial and executive work to achieve several conditions, the most important of which are:

  • Promoting waste disposal in our factories and workshops in accordance with Applicable Laws to limit their negative impact on environment.
  • Implementing a strict program to ensure continuous improvement in raising the efficiency of the production process and reducing energy consumption.
  • Using environmentally friendly materials that are recyclable and fully reusable such as glass and aluminum.
